My name is Julian Koldeweid, and I am a part of the Surfcenter Team. I am 13 years old and training to become a true waterman ;). The experience across all windsurfing disciplines is helping me work on my skills and become a versatile windsurfer. Although at my core, I am dedicated to freestyle windsurfing, hence I contributed to the design of the Starboard iGnite 78 and proudly left my signature on the board itself.
Lately, my focus has shifted to winging, especially on days with lighter wind conditions. My training includes both freestyle and racing disciplines to improve my skills and then apply them to windsurfing. One of my goals is to participate in the PWA and GWA Youth competitions next year.
I am happy to share some tips and tricks with all of you when choosing AK and Freewing gear. My passion for sharing the knowledge I have with others was sparked when I taught my younger sister how to windsurf. I hope more riders (especially the young ones) will join me on the water and experience the thrills of winging and windsurfing.
