Point-7 Adjustable Outhaul Set

This so-called adjustable outhaul set is a system that you can attach to your boom. It allows you to give the sail more or less outhaul tension while sailing. This allows you to give the sail more or less power while sailing by pulling the sail a little tighter or letting it relax so that the sail becomes a bit more rounded and gives you more power.

Ashore or on land it is often difficult to estimate what the wind will do. Does the wind blow much harder further out on the water or does it seem that way? Is the wind increasing or decreasing a lot? An adjustable outhaul kit allows you to adjust the leech on the fly, reducing the need to switch sails, or even go back to shore to adjust the sail settings.

The system is used by many pro slalom surfers, but is also suitable for the fun slalom or freeriders who want to get the most out of the sail or want to be able to adjust everything on the water so as not to have to go ashore to adjust something.

The advantage of Point-7's outhaul kit is that no tools are required to fit it to the boom. As a result, the boom is not unnecessarily damaged and you can also easily transfer the system to another boom, or remove it if you prefer to sail without an outhaul system

The system is easy to use. It comes with two adjustment systems and an extra large line/rope connecting the two parts. Before purchasing, make sure that your boom has enough rolling pulleys, because without this system will not work or will work less well.
