Duotone WARP_FOIL 2023

Ready for the most intense sail development of Duotone's history? Finally it is here! The brand new Duotone WARP_FOIL 20.23! New materials, much lighter and massively reduced drag while racing on the foil! 

The biggest change of the new 2023 Warp_Foil is the use of Penta TX. This new material was designed three years ago by Duotone's Kite department and replaces the Xply of the previous edition in the sail's mast sleeve. By using this new material, the sail is not only much lighter (up to 10% lighter by solely using Penta TX), but also the elasticity of the sail has been greatly improved. This provides much more control while flying above the water at high speeds. We can see this in the speeds of our team rider Jordy Vonk, who helped design this sail. The first time he went on the water with this sail in Tenerife, he broke his personal speed record on the foil by almost reaching 70 km/h. Proven to be efficient!

In addition to the use of this new material, the mast sleeve has also become much wider, almost twice as wide. Yet, Duotone has managed to keep the profile of the sleeve relatively flat, allowing for optimal aerodynamic flow around the sail. The goal of the new design of this mast sleeve is to get the pressure point exactly in the right place, and they have certainly succeeded! The sail feels rock solid on the water, greatly improving control over the entire wind range. And control is... speed!
