Prolimit Shield Freezip 5/3 GBS

Prolimit Shield Freezip 5/3 wetsuit for men is specifically designed for foilers. It has multiple protection areas that keep you safe while carrying the foil and riding. There are 4 main protection areas:

      1. The right shoulder is extra protected with a Fluid neoprene on the outside and extra memory padding on the inside.

      2. Underarms are quite sensitive for wear. That is why the SHIELD is using a special lining which Shields the underarm against wear.

      3. The whole knee area is protected with an armored KED knee pad which shields the knee from impact.

      4. The whole shinbone area is protected with an Armored layer which Shields against cuts and sharp objects.

The Shield 5/3 keeps you warm during the cold winter session so you can keep improving your skills on the water. Down Airflex is a water repellent and dry wicking fabric with the maximum stretch of the Prolimit airflex neoprene. 

The inside of the Shield wetsuit is made of Zodiac2 lining. It is a velvet fleece layered with a quick dry thermal fleece for more warmth and comfort and can be easily seen because of the small letters Z on top of the fabric. Zodiac2 lining is covering mainly your core and top part of your legs to keep the optimal body temperature. Velvet AirFlex lining is a purple fabric that protects your shoulders, arms and calves. The fabric is softer than before and has more stretch. It feels comfortable on your skin as it's smooth as velvet. 

The glued and blind stitched seams keeps the Shield wetsuit watertight. Every single thread is at the end protected by a tape. Precise seam and material placement is designed to fit your body without over-stretching the neoprene. 

The glue that connects the neoprene panels and provides the lamination of the wetsuit is water based. It is solvent free and without chemicals, therefore this avoids latex allergies. Don’t worry! Of course the glue will not dissolve in water.
