The innovative ULTRA concept delivers snappy off-the-top maneuvers and smooth bottom turns, thriving in real-world wave conditions. With fast acceleration, it gets you quickly into the line-up, keeps you moving in critical sections, and allows extra jumps on the way out. Centered volume and thinner rails improve turns and control, while the recessed deck, introduced by Starboard in 1994, adds to its performance.

New Improved Fin Position: More separated fins on the 2025 Ultra provide better grip, allowing harder pushes on top turns without spinning out. Forward side fins help dig the rail in better.
Radical Rockerline: Strong scoop from center to nose prevents nose dives and supports aggressive front foot riding. Modest tail rocker aids planing and top speed.
Narrow Body: Combines fast rocker with a narrow outline for aggressive turns and adaptable radius.
Swallow Tail Shape: Compact shape for tight turns, better wave connection, and improved grip.
Thin Rails: Super thin rails in the tail for effortless turning and plenty of grip.
Mono to Double Concave: Blends classic mono concave nose into double concave midsection and vee’d mild double concave tail.
Narrow Outline: Extra volume around the centerline improves planing and consistency in marginal conditions.
Starbox: Lightweight Starboxes and US-Box reduce tail weight and setup time. Compatible with Slot Box and US box fins.
Locked and Comfortable Stance: Drake footstraps with Yulex foam and 10mm footpads offer comfort and grip.
Kicker Pad: Rear pad with kicker ramp for better lock in the rear strap.
Pure Thruster: Tail vee shape designed for Thruster fin setup. Quad setup available on the HYPER.
