Duotone Black Series

Booms come in many shapes and sizes and are an important part of your kit. In the Black Series, Duotone has fused the head and end pieces with special AeroSpace glue to the T8 aluminum tubes (T8 = very high-quality and tough aluminum). This provides an iron-strength connection and makes the boom rigid and reliable. The Ifront 2.0 boom head is easy to adjust and clicks onto the mast like a charm. The Black Series are the lightest booms in their class and that improves handling on the water!

The short version has a progressive curve (gets wide at the front quickly) and a diameter of only 28 mm. The longer booms have a standard curve so that sails can blow out maximum without being disturbed by the boom. The diameter of the longer booms is 30 mm.

Do you sail large freerace or slalom sails and do you weigh more than 80 kilos yourself? Then choose a boom from the Duotone Silver series or a carbon boom. They are even stronger and stiffer.
