Duotone Eagle 2024

The EAGLE was developed with the following objectives in mind:

- Early passive planing
- Intuitive jibing
- Maximum wind range and control even in choppy conditions

This makes the EAGLE the perfect board for beginners to intermediates, accompanying you from your first gliding attempts to blasting and laydown jibing.

To achieve these characteristics, our team led by Daniel Aeberli (Product Manager Boards) has developed the VOLUME YET CONTROL CONCEPT:

The slightly longer and less rounded outline allows us to increase the volume by up to 30 liters compared to rounder boards (e.g., Fanatic Gecko or Tabou Rocket) without sacrificing control. The additional volume leads to a safer, more predictable, and more relaxed riding position, especially in low power or pre-planing sessions. This results in an unbeatably wide range of use.

The longer and less rounded outline also offers two important advantages:

1) It prevents unnecessary turning of the board into the wind, allowing the EAGLE to almost automatically transition to planing.
2) It prevents the board from pitching even in rough chop, which can be a problem with rounder boards.

The maneuver-oriented rail shape allows for effortless and predictable jibing, as the thin rails require less pressure to initiate the turn. This is ideal for jibing beginners or to increase the success rate of laydown jibing.

However, even for advanced riders, the EAGLE is anything but a boring board. It feels almost like a longer version of the BLAST, as it has a very similar scoop rocker line.
