One of the standout features of the Foil+ is its unique luff curve. In foiling minimal twist and reflex on the mast and luff curve are required, and the straighter luff curve ensures that your weight remains centered over the base plate, resulting in a light and maneuverable feel.

To optimize stability and power delivery, the Foil+ incorporates a tight leech at the two battens above the boom, helping with early planning and upwind angles. As you move toward the middle of the sail and up to the top, the leech gradually becomes looser, releasing just enough pressure to ensure you reach top speeds.

The Foil+ utilizes a smart camber and spacer system, a metal bracket preventing damage to the sail body and a choice of six different camber sizes to achieve the optimal camber pressure for sail body stability while maintaining smooth rotation. The additional spacers allow riders to fine-tune the sail to their specific needs, ensuring the perfect setup for individual preferences.

The main panels are crafted from thicker clear monofilm in the boom area and slightly thinner one in the upper sail body. This choice of clear monofilm not only reduces weight but also offers the most direct feel in acceleration and top speed. To ensure durability, the foot panel and a minimalistic area around the clew feature thick red x-ply materials, providing excellent impact resistance, particularly when the sail rubs against the deck grip of ultra-wide racing boards. 

With all these design tweaks, the Foil+ emerges as a pure foil racing sail that excels in stability during flight and delivers controlled power, making it the ideal companion for winning foil races even in challenging light wind conditions.

For optimal performance, the Foil+ requires a good amount of downhaul force to create the necessary stability on the sail body. The recommended loose leech amount can be determined by connecting an imaginary line through the black/white color transition on the batten pockets. Be cautious not to over-tension the downhaul, as the leech should remain closed above the boom to allow the sail to pull you upwind effectively.
