FoilRide is designed without the cutouts, which results in smoother acceleration, improved control, and enhanced stability. While cutouts can offer aggressive acceleration and earlier lift, the FoilRide showcases impressive passive acceleration without requiring excessive pumping of the sail and board.

Designed with freeriders in mind, the FoilRide board optimizes the rake on the foil mast so the additional sinking of the tail as a secondary result of the cutouts is not needed to give the foil a positive angle of attack. It's way more important to give the rider the confidence and safety to gain trust in foiling quickly and improve from session to session.

The FoilRide boasts a unique mast track design without a deck recess, which makes the board less susceptible to deck damage while learners are mastering the art of foiling. The strategic strap placement further enhances the experience for beginners, making it easier for them to get into and use the foot straps. The recommended position of the footstraps is slightly outboard for the front foot and the inboard positions for the back foot while foiling.

Additionally, the FoilRide is equipped with a large freeride fin, enabling its use as a fun fin freeride board as well. The board's short outline adds to the fun and controlled feel, while the flat rockerline ensures easy planning.
