Severne iQfoil FGO

The Severne FGO – iQFoil Junior sail is the one-design sail used in the IQFoil competitions of youth under 17 years old. During a competition series, you may sail with 2 sail sizes, depending on the weather conditions, and the weight and skill of the wind foiler.

The sail has 3 cambers and 5 battens so that the profile of the sail remains intact even in the thick gusts. The two clew positions ensure that in light winds and the use of the top hole the leech remains powerful and denser. The bottom hole is mainly used in strong winds, where the leech can open nicely when overpressured and provides control. Due to the great trim option of this sail, it is extremely suitable for foil and fin surfing.

The sail is available in sizes 5.0 m2, 6.0 m2 and 7.0 m2, and is sailed with a Severne RDM mast. By using an RDM mast, there is optimal reflex from the mast to gusts and the rotation of the cambers is excellent.
